Tuesday, October 24 2023

Aldesa has endorsed its commitment to responsible infrastructure management by attaining the highest score in the GRESB Infrastructure 2023 sustainability index, awarded to its Mexican concession CAS. With a score of 100/100 and five stars- the index’s highest score-, for the second consecutive year it is ranked at the top of the Road & Transport sectors. Furthermore, it is one of the world’s sustainability leaders with its eighth position in global Infrastructures ranking.

CAS has obtained the highest scores available under GRESB Infrastructure further to ESG criteria: Environmental (25/25), Social (48/48) and Governance (27/27).

Aldesa has been CAS’s reference shareholder since 2007 and, together with its partner AINDA Energía & Infraestructura- a pioneer leader in responsible investment in Latin America-, is in charge of the operation & maintenance of the Tuxtla Gutiérrez-San Cristóbal de las Casas (46.5 km) and Arriaga-Ocozocoautla (93 km) toll motorways, in the State of Chiapas (Mexico). These routes are two of the main road structures in the region that, in 2022 only, accounted for nearly 11.9 million vehicles.
