Aldesa, the first organization in Spain to obtain the certificate accredited in criminal compliance after passing the audit of Bureau Veritas

Grupo Aldesa organization, constituted by its main companies ? Grupo Aldesa, Aldesa Construcciones, Acisa, Acisa Seguridad, Aldener, Coalvi, Proacon, Aldesa Home, Puerto Deportivo de Torrevieja - has become the first organization in Spain to obtain the UNE 19601: 2017 accredited certification. The standard establishes the requirements to implement a criminal compliance management system in line with the Criminal Code and integrates a series of good practices contemplated in international standards.

The audit conducted by Bureau Veritas, the only entity currently accredited by the National Accreditation Entity (ENAC) for the certification of UNE 19601: 2017, endorses the correct implementation of Aldesa in this standardized model, which also includes the best practices to prevent the commission of crimes, reduces criminal risk and promotes the promotion of an ethical and compliance culture in organizations.

En este sentido, la consecución de esta certificación permite a Aldesa disponer de un mayor control, ya que UNE 19601:2017 plantea procedimientos de diligencia debida tanto en procesos internos, que afectan al personal en posiciones especialmente expuestas, como en procesos externos, reforzando a los socios de negocio aumentando la vigilancia en relación a asuntos financieros o no financieros.

In this respect, the attainment of this certification allows Aldesa to have greater control, since UNE 19601: 2017 poses due diligence procedures both in internal processes, which affect personnel in specially exposed positions, as in external processes, reinforcing business partners increasing vigilance in relation to financial or non-financial matters.
