Wednesday, July 31 2024

The Marina Salinas Sports Port has once again obtained the international Blue Flag distinction awarded by the Association of Environmental Education and Consumption (ADEAC) in recognition of its environmental efforts.

Operated by Aldesa under a concession for more than a decade, the Marina Salinas Sports Port has successfully met the analyzed criteria, which include water quality, environmental management, safety, services, and accessibility. Improvements such as enhancing the protection of the boatyard to prevent spills into the sea, installing a defibrillator, and promoting environmental awareness and education activities are some of the initiatives driven this year.

With more than 130,000 m2 of surface area, Marina Salinas is one of the largest ports in the Valencian Community, with 724 moorings for boats between 8 and 35 meters in length. With the Blue Flag distinction, Marina Salinas positions itself in the ranking of ports recognized worldwide for its excellence in marine environment protection.
