Aldesa is participating in construction of two of the tunnels running along the new route, which is part of the federal Pachuca-Huejutla road.
The longest tunnel, known as Vicente-Guerrero, has a mine tunnel 648 metres long (a total of 700 metres including false tunnels). Located at kilometre point 16+440, it will accommodate four traffic lanes, each 3.50 metres wide.
In turn, Omitlán tunnel covers the distance between kilometre point 17+178 and kilometre point 17+800. With a mine tunnel 435 metres long (a total of 489 metres including false tunnels), it will also accommodate four traffic lanes, each 3.50 metres wide.
Both projects include hydraulic concrete paving, horizontal and vertical signage, drainage works, electrical installations, ventilation systems and ITS (Intelligent Transportation Systems), amongst other key infrastructure tasks. This progress in the Real del Monte-Huasca road is a significant step forward in terms of local connectivity and development.
