Aldesa launches a donation and aid campaign in response to the emergency situation in Ukraine

Aldesa launches a collection to help alleviate the humanitarian crisis caused by the military offensive in Ukraine that has forced thousands of people to leave their homes in search of safety, shelter and support. Through ACNUR / UNHCR, the company has the challenge of raising funds to the refugees via the campaign available by clicking here.

Furthermore, the company, in coordination with its teams in Central Europe, has set up collection points at its premises of food, medicine, heaters and necessities.

The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees is a UN agency mandated to aid and protect refugees, forcibly displaced communities, and stateless people, and to assist in their voluntary repatriation, local integration or resettlement to a third country. Due to the prolonged crisis situation, it is estimated that in the coming weeks and months, about 4,000,000 people may flee Ukraine to neighbouring countries such as Poland, Slovakia, Hungary and Moldova.
