Coalvi, Aldesa's subsidiary specialized in railway works, has started the works valued at 65.8 million euros for the maintenance and improvement of more than 2,700 kilometers of Adif's Conventional and Metric Width Lines, including sidings and railway logistic terminals along Catalonia and Aragon, in the northeast of Spain.

The contract, awarded in a joint venture in the second half of 2021 –50% Coalvi, 50% Rover Rail–, has a two-year time frame and includes cyclical maintenance activities, consisting mainly of infrastructure and superstructure inspections (bridges, tunnels, trenches and embankments); activities by condition (for example, in the event of incidents), as well as infrastructure improvement actions.

Among other innovations, this project will be supported by software for data collection and processing to optimize predictive maintenance models.
