The Group is consolidating its presence in maritime projects for the regeneration, protection and improvement of Spain’s coastal environment. As part of this work, Aldesa has carried out many projects in Spanish ports and coastal areas for the Coastline Department of the Environment Ministry and autonomous bodies. This work has included seafront developments, resurfacing of docks and roads, recovery of coastal habitats, port buildings, etc. One of Aldesa’s most important projects in this area was the construction of the Sports Marina in Torrevieja (Alicante), which has over 700 berths.
