Engineering and installation

Aldesa Ingeniería y Servicios is the division that centralises the management of all activities carried out by Grupo Aldesa in the area of Installations, Systems and Services. Its structure is organised around three business units:

Traffic, Lighting and Systems

It usually operates under the brand ACISA (Aeronaval de Construcciones e Instalaciones, S.A.) and is aimed at developing solutions, with a strong technological component, applied to: the management of urban and interurban traffic; the installation, maintenance and energy optimisation of lighting systems; control systems in airport, tertiary and industrial installations, and the installation and maintenance of equipment related to information and communication technology. Its heavy investment in R&D&I permits it to have its own technology readily available in all the sectors in which it operates.

The subsidiaries of this business unit include: Acisa Seguridad, specialised in the design, installation and operation of security systems focused on large clients; Supertec, specialist in the design, manufacture, installation and maintenance of access control systems, both in urban environments as well as buildings; and Maquivías, the only national company devoted to engineering, design and manufacture of standard and special auxiliary machinery for the assembly and maintenance of railway lines (hydraulic and levelling jacks, dresines, railway sleepers, positioners, etc.).

Industrial Installations, Assemblies and Services

Focused on the development and maintenance of mechanical and electrical infrastructures under different contracting models (turnkey, installation, etc.) in environments requiring a high degree of specialisation, and operating with the brands ACISA and Grupo AMS.

Consolidated in the airport sector with new electrical plant projects, electrical installation activities, marking systems and integrated installations in new terminals, such as the airports at Barcelona, Alicante and Majorca. In the energy and industrial field, it carries out electro-mechanical installation projects, O&M and turnkey service providing, etc., on all types of plants (thermo-solar, process, refineries, etc.). With an energy service company approach, Grupo AMS plans, constructs, installs and operates thermal and electrical installations, applying the most modern solutions in both the control of energy demand and the efficient generation of useful thermal energy.

The company's growing presence in the railway sector is worthy of mention, with projects for Adif and autonomous and local bodies, as well as the energy sector (thermal and nuclear plants, etc.).

Facility Management and Services

Under the brand Concentra, it develops activities related to facility management, installation maintenance, integrated and specialist cleaning, auxiliary services, and also integrated services for hospitals and socio-health services.

Noteworthy from the references in the field of installation maintenance are the offices of the Xunta (autonomous government) of Galicia and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as well as unique buildings such as Picasso Tower, Europa Tower and Puerta Europa Tower, which firmly establish Concentra as a benchmark in the maintenance and cleaning of complex buildings. Concentra has also achieved a high level of specialisation in the health sector, with references such as Fuenlabrada Hospital and Jaen Hospital. Worthy of mention in the airport sector is the maintenance of heating and air conditioning systems in Malaga and Alicante airports.

Another highlight in the service area is the cleaning of especially complicated installations due to their large size and heavy public use, such as the airports at Malaga and Barcelona, and the trains and railway stations of the Generalitat, Renfe and Adif.

This business unit is also present in the integrated management of nursing homes, daycare centres and domestic help services, with references such as the town councils of Navalcarnero and Alcobendas and the Junta (autonomous government) of Castile and Leon.
