Aldesa, awarded the Best Innovative Idea in Systems for Workplace Safety

The Technical Bureau of Workplace Safety in Construction has distinguished Aldesa Construcciones one of the III Awards Workplace Safety and Health in the Construction of the Murcia Region, in particular, for the Best Innovative Idea in Security Systems for the development of the system Alpre-Red for protection in viaducts.
This system, which is being used by Aldesa in the work of the MU-31 motorway, is a media placement articulated in the rafters where the arms are mounted and jibs. To these forks are fastened safety nets that are anchored to the top of the rafters. The protection is maintained throughout the construction process of the board of the viaduct, protecting all work carried out.
The main innovation of Alpre-Red over other systems currently in use is that the whole system is installed from a safe area, i.e., from the ground once they reach the special transport ?dollys?. All installation is performed before hoisting the beam, producing a double effect: first, avoid the drop to a different level that would be installed once hoisted the beam and, secondly, its installation quicker, lowering the cost of installation by reducing the time and number of lifts used.
In addition, the system adapts to any structure with different eaves thanks to his articulated support and his anchor piece variation of the inclination of nets.
The jury highlighted the difficulty of the election this year given the high quality of all the nominations presented for these awards, which are conferred on companies and professionals in the construction sector by the effort and dedication to ensure the improvement of workplace safety conditions. The event was chaired by Constantine Sotoca, Minister of Education, Employment and Training in the Murcia Region Government and developed as the culmination of the celebration in the town of Totana of the Third Week of Workplace Safety in the Construction of Murcia.
